It was the 4th of July and all I was looking for was a dog friendly pub where I could go have a cold beverage with my furry friend. We did a quick Web search, found Bergies, called to confirm, and off we went.
We walked in and were directed to the outside area where canines are welcome. We had only been there a couple minutes when a woman came out and offered to raise the umbrella for us (it was hot) and offered to bring my dog a bowl of water. She then took our order and heaped affection on our dog! Our dog thought she had died and gone to heaven! Shortly after, the woman introduced herself - her name was Renee and she was the owner! Next Renee's husband came out and introduced himself as well.
The service was top notch and their kindness was mind blowing. I would expect nothing less from former LAPD and Sheriff's officers.

Came in for a drink and saw some really good looking plates of food go by so I had to order. Bacon cheeseburger and steak fries were on point! Staff was super friendly and always checkin on us. This place is really clean too. I'll definitely be coming here more.

Tuesday Prime Rib Night
On 1.15.19 Marcia and I joined three of our friends at Bergie's Bar and Grill. They offer a large and smaller portion of Prime Rib at $25.95 and $20.95. The food and drinks were excellent. The prices for food and drink are very reasonable.
We were served by Vicky who is a great server. The Bar was staffed by two bartenders Sara and Faith, they are excellent bar tenders. Reuben is the chef in the kitchen. Reuben does an excellent job of cooking.
Entertainment was provided by the "John Davis Experience" band. They play rock and roll greats. The John Davis is an excellent singer and guitar player. The drummer is Chuck Strong who is always good. -

One of the best burgers in the western front! Great atmosphere, incredible food and a staff that makes me proud to be living in this side of the pacific! There's an amazing waitress there named Ellie... she treats us right every time and it keeps us coming back. Bergie's is a gem! Let it out and support your mom and pop restaurants!!
